Getting Started

After reading our Getting Started guide, the next step is determining your starting bankroll. Your starting bankroll changes the approach you take to complete all the sign-up offers. This guide contains two methods, one for bankrolls over $6,000 (large) and one for under $6,000 (standard). Selecting your starting bankroll size below adjusts the recommended order for completing the sign-up offers and helps optimize your profit.

Standard bankrolls: Start with the smaller sign-up offers to build your bankroll. Then move to DraftKings followed by the larger sign-up offers.

Large Bankrolls: Start with DraftKings and maximize the 20% deposit match. Then use DraftKings to hedge other signup offers. This will often result in their VIP team contacting you which leads to larger and more profitable offers. If you have a bankroll over $10,000 consider immediately going after VIP status. Read our guides on Becoming a VIP.

The introductory bonuses provided below are just the beginning. Each sportsbook offers regular promotions that could potentially amount to several hundred dollars per month, and if you attain VIP status, the benefits could be even greater.

3Sweepstakes Sportsbook: Not regulated by the gaming commission and offers fewer customer protections.

4No Sign-up Offer: Without a sign-up offer, they can be used to hedge other sign-up offers and avoid stacking promotions. Consider signing up for them before the listed order.

5Prediction Market: Prediction markets do not limit bettors and allow trades on events outside of sports. Some prediction markets are regulated by the CFTC in the US.

Sweepstakes Casino Offers

When profiting from sweepstake casino signup offers, it’s essential to understand a few basic principles. Unlike traditional online casinos, sweepstake casinos operate legally by allowing you to play with virtual currencies (like "Sweeps Coins") that can later be redeemed for cash prizes. The key to reliably making money from these offers lies in focusing only on those with positive expected value (+EV), meaning that over the long run, they statistically yield profits. Understanding +EV will ensure your choices are mathematically profitable, even if you experience short-term ups and downs due to variance.

Equally important is knowing how to manage your bankroll effectively, carefully reading terms and conditions to avoid common pitfalls, and efficiently converting your virtual winnings into withdrawable cash. Our detailed guides dive deeper into each of these topics, clearly explaining the concepts and strategies you'll need for consistent, sustainable profits. We strongly recommend reviewing these guides before diving into the signup offers listed below.

Prediction Markets

Status: contested. Last verified August 24, 2026.

Connecticut regulators have issued cease-and-desist letters targeting sports-related event contracts. On April 2, 2026, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Department of Justice filed suit against Connecticut, asserting exclusive federal jurisdiction over event contracts under the Commodity Exchange Act.

The wider question remains unresolved. In April 2026 the Third Circuit upheld an injunction against New Jersey regulators in the first federal appellate ruling on the issue, while a Maryland court reached the opposite conclusion. Prediction markets are federally regulated and do not limit winning traders, which is why they matter for matched betting, but availability in Connecticut may change on short notice.

Sports Betting Law and Timeline

Connecticut sports betting timeline

  • May 2021: Public Act 21-23 was signed into law, authorizing sports wagering in Connecticut.
  • September 2021: The U.S. Department of the Interior approved amended tribal compacts with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and the Mohegan Tribe.
  • October 2021: Retail and online sports betting went live.

Connecticut limits the market to three master licenses, held by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, the Mohegan Tribe, and the Connecticut Lottery Corporation. That cap is why fewer sportsbooks operate here than in neighboring states. Online casino gaming is also permitted, and credit card deposits are allowed.
