Prediction Markets in Alaska
Status: available. Last verified October 2, 2026.
Prediction markets such as Kalshi and Polymarket US are regulated federally by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. We found no cease-and-desist letter, lawsuit or court ruling from Alaska against prediction market apps, and they currently accept Alaska users.
Courts elsewhere are split. On September 25, 2026, the Sixth Circuit ruled for Ohio and Tennessee in KalshiEX LLC v. Schuler, and the Ninth Circuit ruled for Nevada, while the Third Circuit sided with Kalshi in New Jersey. The Supreme Court may settle the question, which could change availability in Alaska.
Prediction markets matter for matched betting because they do not limit winning traders. Check each app for current availability in Alaska before you deposit.
