Is Sports Betting Legal in Alabama?
Sports betting is not legal in Alabama, online or in person. Lawmakers have filed bills in recent sessions, but none has passed, and Alabama has no sports betting regulator. Online casinos are not legal either. Prediction markets regulated by the CFTC, such as Kalshi, face no Alabama enforcement action we could find. This guide covers those options and what each one is worth.
