Overview

Rollcard is a Visa debit card and deposit account built for those that use iGaming and Prediction Markets. There are several reasons it outperforms a standard bank account.

  • Higher limits: allows larger sportsbook deposits and withdrawals.
  • Reliable transactions: traditional bank account often block transactions.
  • Built for sports bettors: frequent sportsbook activity may lead to account closure at a traditional bank.
  • Dedicated account: separate gaming activity from your primary bank account.

The card is issued by Cross River Bank, Member FDIC. Deposits are held at Cross River Bank and insured up to $250,000 per depositor.

If you are gaming via regulated sportsbooks, prediction markets, or in person casinos you are already regularly depositing and withdrawing money. If you are currently not using a card with cashback on those deposits than you are missing out on effortless profit.

This review covers the rates, the limits, the terms that decide whether you actually collect, and where Rollcard sits next to EDGE Boost and the GBank Visa Signature card.

Cashback Rates

Rollcard uses five tiers. Your tier is set by total qualifying spend within a calendar month, and tiers reset on the 1st.

TierMonthly Qualifying SpendCashback Rate
Standard$500 to $2,5000.30%
Bronze$2,501 to $10,0000.35%
Silver$10,001 to $25,0000.40%
Gold$25,001 to $100,0000.45%
Platinum$100,001 and above0.55%

Two rules govern the program. You need at least $500 in qualifying spend in a month to earn anything, and cashback is capped at $1,000 per month. Cashback posts automatically to your card balance at the end of each month. There are no points to convert and no redemption portal.

Example

Assume you deposit $20,000 across sportsbooks during a calendar month. That total places you in the Silver tier at 0.40%.

$20,000 x 0.0040 = $80.00

That $80 credits to your card balance at month end. Here is the same calculation at other volumes.

Monthly Qualifying SpendTierMonthly Cashback
$2,000Standard$6.00
$5,000Bronze$17.50
$20,000Silver$80.00
$50,000Gold$225.00
$150,000Platinum$825.00

The $1,000 monthly cap binds at $181,818 in qualifying spend, calculated as $1,000 divided by 0.0055. Volume above that figure earns nothing further in the same month.

The Welcome Offer

New members earn double their tier rate for the first 30 days after enrollment, with the cap raised to $2,000 for that window.

Example: $5,000 in qualifying spend during the first 30 days places you in the Bronze tier at 0.35%. Doubled, the effective rate is 0.70%.

$5,000 x 0.0070 = $35.00, compared with $17.50 at the standard rate.

The bonus accumulates through the welcome window and pays as a single credit at the end of it. Your standard monthly rate applies afterward.

Transaction Limits

FunctionLimit
Card spendUp to $1,000,000 per business day
ACH withdrawalsUp to $250,000 per business day
ATM cash accessUp to $2,000 per business day
FDIC insuranceUp to $250,000 per depositor

Transactions initiated on weekends or bank holidays count toward the next business day's limit. ACH deposits into your Rollcard account are generally credited within one to three business days, and deposits submitted after 2:00 PM ET process as the next business day. Fund the account ahead of a promotion deadline rather than the morning it expires.

Where You Can Use It

Qualifying spend covers licensed US sportsbooks, DFS platforms, online casinos, and prediction markets. ATM withdrawals, cash advances, account fees, and reversed or disputed transactions do not qualify. The account is available to US residents aged 21 and over.

Warnings and Pitfalls

$500 minimum

If your qualifying spend for a calendar month is below $500, you earn zero cash back for that month.

Card cycling is prohibited

Rollcard prohibits card cycling and what its terms describe as non-bona-fide spend. Cashback on transactions that are later reversed, refunded, or disputed is forfeited. This matters for matched betting specifically. Do not deposit and immediately withdraw without wagering through your deposit at least 1x. You should always fund your account, wager the deposit at least 1x, then withdraw. This is best not only for your account health at sportsbooks (avoiding limits), but also to keep your Rollcard in good standing.

Monthly boundaries cost you

Tiers reset on the 1st of each month. Splitting a deposits across two calendar months can drop you a tier in each. Concentrating $12,000 in a single month earns Silver at 0.40%, which is $48. Splitting the same $12,000 into $6,000 across two months earns Bronze at 0.35% twice, which is $21 plus $21, or $42. This example is only a $6 different, but the gap widens at higher volume.

Monthly Qualifying Spend Tier Rate Monthly Cashback Annual Cashback
$499 None 0.00% $0.00 $0
$500 Standard 0.30% $1.50 $18
$2,500 Standard 0.30% $7.50 $90
$2,501 Bronze 0.35% $8.75 $105
$10,000 Bronze 0.35% $35.00 $420
$10,001 Silver 0.40% $40.00 $480
$25,000 Silver 0.40% $100.00 $1,200
$25,001 Gold 0.45% $112.50 $1,350
$100,000 Gold 0.45% $450.00 $5,400
$100,001 Platinum 0.55% $550.01 $6,600

Read each shaded block as a pair. The bold row is the tier threshold, and the row above it is one dollar short. Annual figures assume the same volume every month.

Rates can change

Rollcard states that rates and tier thresholds are subject to change. Verify current terms on the Rollcard cashback page before making a decision based on a specific number.

How Rollcard Fits a Matched Betting Bankroll

Cashback on deposits is not a betting strategy. It is a small, consistent increase to any profits. If your approach to matched betting already moves five figures a month through sportsbooks, a rate between 0.40% and 0.55% on those transactions accumulates over a year without changing anything about how you bet.

The secondary benefit is separation. Running a betting bankroll through a dedicated account keeps sportsbook transactions off your everyday checking statements, which matters if you expect a financial review for something like a mortgage application. Our guide to deposits and withdrawals covers the mechanics of moving money in and out of books.
